To the enlightened ones, the ones who ponder and wonder, the ones emitting electrons, the ones exchanging packets, the ones slowly burning the electric boards and the ones mining Geem, We are excited to announce that the Geem tail emission has been changed from 0.06 Geem to ~1.00 Geem.
The core reason for this decision was to incentivize the miner, and keep Geem emission at a healthy level after the initial supply of 20 Million Geem has exhausted. The change has been implemented in the latest version of the Geem suite of applications, GUI and CLI. Geem 2.3.8 Sitara, the northern star brings this change to life. Users can also review the Geem git commits on github.

Geem tail emission at version 2.3.8 Sitara, the northern star. Git commit here.

In English or layman terms, Geem will forever emit 1.00 Geem for every block found after all of the 20 million Geem coins have been mined by miners. This change will always incentivize the miner as the reward will always be exciting and lucrative enough for supporting the Geem network and processing those far future transactions.
